Since filthy ISIS thugs has completely destroyed this archaeological site, I wonder what is the fate of this guide. Assuming no ruins left there to see anymore, I don't think it is any longer a UNESCO site. Also, I don't think Hatra anylonger merit an article since there's no accomodation on-site. Google Maps does'nt show any see any sign of inhabitancy in and around Hatra except buildings of ruins which are destroyed already. --Saqib (talk) 14:37, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sadly, I think you're right. Perhaps we should archive the article and append a note to it about the vandalism of IS? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:28, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
IK: As a general rule, the page should be rather redirected as it clearly fails "can you sleep there", but I've archived it as you suggested, for time being. --Saqib (talk) 22:30, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
This page should redirect to Al Jazira. Keeping empty articles is not useful, especially if no accommodation was ever available in the first place. Syced (talk) 11:14, 17 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Do you propose to move the note to Al Jazira as well? I think a silent memorial is appropriate. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:25, 17 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine with leaving this page as-is, but the text should mention that Hatra is in the Al Jazira region of Iraq (as now there are no breadcrumbs to indicate this). K7L (talk) 11:42, 17 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
That's fine. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:44, 17 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I mean, I'm fine with restoring the breadcrumb trail as you propose. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:44, 17 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
If ever we redirect this page to another one, we can always mention destruction of Hatra in an infobox. --Saqib (talk) 08:37, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
