Extra-hierarchical region?

This region isn't listed at Chicagoland#Regions, and some confusion seems to be caused by the fact that these cities aren't listed in the other Chicagoland regions. Should we turn this into an extra-hierarchical region and add the cities to the other regions where the Chicagoland article says they should be listed? —Granger (talk · contribs) 22:01, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
