End date for Italian empire[edit]

These two statements are contradictory:

"Italy developed a small colonial empire starting in with Assab Bay in modern-day Eritrea in 1882, and ending with the independence of Somalia in 1960."

"The Italian Empire came to an end following Italy's defeat in World War II, as the victorious Allies forced Italy to give up all its colonies."

Apparently, that decision by the Allies was short lived; see w:Trust Territory of Somaliland:

The Trust Territory of Somaliland, officially the "Trust Territory of Somaliland under Italian administration" (Italian: Amministrazione fiduciaria italiana della Somalia), was a United Nations Trust Territory situated in present-day Somalia. Its capital was Mogadishu and was administered by Italy from 1950 to 1960, following the dissolution of the former British Military Administration. It gained independence in 1960.

Per w:Italian Somaliland, the initial temporary end of Italian colonialism lasted from 1941-1950:

In 1936, the region was integrated into Italian East Africa as the Somalia Governorate. This would last until Italy's loss of the region in 1941, during the East African campaign of World War II. Italian Somalia then came under British military administration until 1950, when it became a United Nations trusteeship, the Trust Territory of Somalia under Italian administration.
