I am unclear about the purpose of this article about Kentucky Lake. While we do not usually write articles about lakes, we do if the name of the lake also applies to the surrounding region. However, this article suggests the lake is already covered by the contributing regions in each state. Or has someone got the meaning of regions backwards and means that both these region come together here at Kentucky Lake? To make this clearer I am wondering if Kentucky Lake should be split into two parts, one for the region in each state? This could make the Kentucky Lake article sort of like a disambiguation page, perhaps. I am not clear about this area so want someone with local knowledge to explain the geography, etc. - (WT-en) Huttite 03:58, 16 December 2009 (EST)

As for the Kentucky Lake article, it seems to me to have the wrong template as it is a destination parented by the Western Waterlands region article and not a region in itself. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 04:09, 16 December 2009 (EST)

I have changed the template to a park as opposed to a region. The lake is essentially an outdoor recreation area and not a major region of Kentucky. Schwaltz (talk) 23:06, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
