Usefulness

[edit]

Ladino is a language with a rich history, but is learning how to speak it useful to travelers anywhere? In other words, how is this article really travel-related? I mean, I'm not even sure this is more useful than Esperanto phrasebook, which really should be removed from Wikivoyage... Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:14, 17 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Ikan Kekek: I agree that this is of very limited value but as you rightly point out, so are many phrasebooks. If you think that we should have a policy on utility of phrasebooks, I am in favor of that discussion in principle but I wouldn't start picking them off one by one. Do you think an RfC would be handy? —Justin (koavf)TCM 07:20, 17 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
[Edit conflict] Actually, let's discuss this at Talk:Phrasebooks#‎Is there any threshold of usefulness? Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:21, 17 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
