Talk:Lake District

While I think Lake District is a well known name around the world, Lake District National Park is a better one. I would prefer to see this article become a disambiguation page or redirection page that describes all the Lake Districts around the world and points to the correctly titled articles for each of them. -- (WT-en) Huttite 16:35, 13 Jan 2005 (EST)

Combine with Lakes Region?

Would it be helpful to merge the dab for Lakes Region here? They sound distinct in English, but someone trying to locate Järvi-Suomi or Göller Yöresi might end up in either. I'm unsure about Lakeland, and what won't help readers is a compendium of everywhere containing the term "lake". Grahamsands (talk) 20:06, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
