Hmm, I think what we'd really like is to have whatever info these articles have summarized into something useful for travellers. I know there's a lot more there than we can cover, but a Project:Travel topic should be as self-contained as possible. This is an interesting case because what would a "primary source" be? So I removed a few links. The kittery outlet thing was a directory and thus shouldn't be linked to (compare to hotel directories, other guides, etc). It also bugs me as it's borderline spam. The wikipedia links shouldn't be there, we should link to our own articles which then in turn link back to Wikipedia as well.

Having actually looked at the article, the question opens itself up: is a shopping spree really "travel"? Shouldn't this material simply be listed under "Buy" in the Maine article? Does it have to be a stand-alone article? -- (WT-en) Nils 06:29, 22 Jul 2004 (EDT)

Nevermind. The author disguised links to this article as City links on the Maine page. This can only mean one thing: This is an attempt at spam. I'll post to VFD to have this article deleted. I don't think the author was deliberately spamming. On the other hand, I'm unconvinced this is a good travel topic. Outlet malls can just be included in the Buy sections of various cities. An itinery might want to suggest a path through Main with pointers to our city articles containing Outlet malls one could hit along the way, but that doesn't seem to be the intent of this article. -- (WT-en) Colin 12:33, 22 Jul 2004 (EDT)
