Upgradation of Page[edit]

Dear Ikan Kekek and Ground Zero I have been working on the Mumbai/South article for some time. Presently the article is under Usable category can it be upgraded to Guide category. --Rangan Datta Wiki (talk) 08:35, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your hard work on this article. Here I we are looking for in deciding whether an article is a 'guide':

  1. A brief general overview allows the voyager to understand why this destination is of historic, geographic or cultural interest.
  2. The article has different choices for accommodation and eating/drinking (if applicable) and information on multiple attractions and things to do.
  3. Listings and layout closely match the manual of style.
  4. There are clear explanations of multiple ways to get in, clear information on getting around (preferably including a map with point-of-interest markers), and suggestions for where to go next, with one-liner descriptions.
  5. Should have a custom page-banner.

I think that this article competes the list, except that there is only one listing under "Do". If there is nothing else worth including there, then that's alright. There is no point including something that is WV:boring just to have a longer list. @Ikan Kekek:? Ground Zero (talk) 12:12, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've never been to Mumbai. No time to look at the article right away, but Ground Zero's remarks sound right on to me. Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:41, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is much interesting thin under Do. Hope the article can be upgraded?--Rangan Datta Wiki (talk) 08:25, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You actually don't have to ask permission to upgrade an article unless you were trying to make it a Star - that would require a vote. Just go ahead. If someone disagrees, they can always change it back - that's the nature of a Wiki. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:38, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the suggestion, I have changed it. --Rangan Datta Wiki (talk) 08:43, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
