Merge Fenwick Island[edit]

Should we merge Fenwick Island into this article? From looking at a map, it looks like Fenwick Island is just the northern tip of Ocean City, and that it's only a separate city in a political scene. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 09:13, 26 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • Oppose. There is enough content in each article for them to be separate. Fenwick Island has things to see, things to do, and places to sleep. We have cities that are broken up into neighbourhood articles, so I think it's okay to have two articles here. Ground Zero (talk) 11:03, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, you've got a point there. But shouldn't we link the guides together somehow? The "Ocean City" guide should probably at least have a link to "Fenwick Island". Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 17:26, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Fenwick Island is linked in the "routes through" box at the bottom of the article. You can also add a link easily yourself, e.g., in the "Go next" section, for example. Also, the Ocean City article is long enough already without jamming in all of the stuff from this article. Ground Zero (talk) 18:21, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I've reworked the articles so that Fenwick Island is presented as a neighborhood of Ocean City. Does that look good? Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 09:46, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That looks good to me. Thanks. Ground Zero (talk) 12:46, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
There's one more issue: "Fenwick Island" is apparently both the name of the Delaware portion of Ocean City, and the barrier island the city is on. And the barrier island is actuality a peninsula. I'd like to explain that in the articles (or at least the Fenwick Island article), but I'm not sure how to go about that. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 11:45, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
