Talk:Perth and Kinross

All the towns here have "usable" status except Blairgowrie & Rattray. That page was created a year ago but remains unpopulated. It misses the Meigle Pictish stones, which have been listed under nearby Forfar. Apart from those, there's next to nothing in or around town so I propose it's redirected. But where to? Possibly to Forfar though that's in the adjacent county of Angus. How about to the higher level of Perth and Kinross? Grahamsands (talk) 10:01, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It could be merged with Dunkeld, but I don't think that is needed. There are several nearby villages Coupar Angus, Alyth, Bridge of Cally etc which must have something to see or do. Forfar is 20 miles away which too far - once listings are much more than 5 miles apart, the reader gets annoyed if he stays at one and wants to eat at another. I have added some listings, so Blairgowrie is now only missing Eat & Drink. AlasdairW (talk) 22:47, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well done, it now looks like a viable town, so let's continue to build on that. I'm going to propose some changes to "How to merge" and, alongside the "Sleep" test, we must be sure to mention the "Alasdair's Dinner" test. Grahamsands (talk) 14:04, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
