Hatnote pointing to a redlink[edit]

So we have a disambiguation/hatnote that points to a town on which we do not have an article and which seems to not really need an article. What should we do about this? Hobbitschuster (talk) 13:23, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There's a similar situation here: Talk:Laufenburg_(Germany), however in that case there is an article for both towns. I think the easiest solution would be to incorporate attractions and sights from the German side into this article and then just get rid of the disambiguation? Of course we'd have to mention in the article that the city reaches on both countries, and of course this also comes back to the question to which region this should be breadcrumbed. I'd say breadcrumb it to Switzerland because that's where the bigger part seems to be. We did a similar thing for Görlitz / Zgorzelec. Hobbitschuster (talk) 13:51, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
