Cycling

The trail is really a combination of different paths and tracks through the area. The trail as a whole it is not meant for cycling and in fact some parts you could only manage as an experienced mountain biker. Some parts of the trail are actually on cycle paths but there is more of the route on paths were cycling is not allowed. The cycle paths along the Rhine are on the valley bottom right next to the river. Although great scenery and a very flat ride the narrowness of the valley means the proximity to motor vehicles is unpleasant and sometimes quite dangerous. --Traveler100 (talk) 14:05, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Thanks we are fairly experience mountain bikers :-) If there are bits were cycling is not allowed than that will make it less possible. Does not wish to upset the locals. Travel Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 02:04, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
