Villa directions[edit]

Saying a villa is near somewhere is normally a form of touting, firstly because most such accommodation listings aren't any nearer to the mentioned places than any other listing, and also because "near" isn't quantified. Dover is "near" to Calais, but you couldn't walk it. It certainly doesn’t help travellers find the place in question, unlike a street address. Perhaps User:LPfi can say whether I'm wrong in this case? --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 08:54, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@ThunderingTyphoons!: Yes, I understand your concern. In this case however, I thought it was real information, and reading the web page confirmed this: the lodging is 10 km from the resort proper. I added that clarification. --LPfi (talk) 09:05, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I would say that the business owner's original edit came across as a good faith attempt to stay within our rules, not as an attempt to tout.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 09:55, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
