Headline text[edit]

hi

The following is untrue

"Accidents are quite common, almost yearly, and while most of the times the passengers get away with just a few bruises, 3 years ago one of the planes crashed while attempting to land and all the passengers died, including the pilot who was very well known in the St. Barth community."

Crashes are very rare, and no-one to my knowledge has ever been injured on landing during any incident. There was an Air Caraibes plane that crashed prior to landing in 2001, I reiterate well before the landing and while the causes are still unknown, had nothing to do with the landing conditions at the airport since the plane didn't even get there far!

This is a travel website, so why scare off potential visitors with half-truths?

Merge Gustavia?[edit]

Why does Gustavia have its own article if it has no listings and the listings for Gustavia are in this article? Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:15, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was created by an IP editor back in 2006, with contributions from an other IP in 2009. Seems no logged-in regular has added text, just templates and pagebanner. I suppose it could be merged to here. Most of the content is about Saint-Barthélemy in general rather than the town, anyway. –LPfi (talk) 16:31, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that background. I feel like I'd like some more opinions before acting. La petite française, what do you think? And anyone else? Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:12, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I could see two solutions: we merge the article or we develop Gustavia page. As it is now, the page could easily be merged indeed. La petite française
OK. Thanks for your input. I may start doing a merge as soon as tomorrow unless someone objects in the interim. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:43, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
