Suggestion 1 - Shah-i-Zinda.

Suggestion 2 - Registan. Currently used for Uzbekistan.

The current page banner is blurry. We should consider others. IMO, the Uzbekistan banner feels a bit too close-up for a country banner. Any of those can also be considered for Samarkand through Bukhara, as that banner is a bit dull, too. /Yvwv (talk) 19:23, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

@Ikan Kekek: @Ground Zero: Hi folks, you'll notice there was a massive injection of content here today, which I tried to copyedit on the fly as it was saved, but the encyclopaedic padding is massive too, I'm reticent about trimming all that "dioceses and congregations" stuff that might be excessive here, or repeating things already present in the text, and right now I'm in mobile mode, unable to do much, I hope you guys don't mind if I ask you to step in and help.

Seizing the opportunity, I reckon I've been less active than usual, very busy offline, and would like to have talked and contributed more to Wikivoyage in this year that's finishing. May we all have an excellent réveillon party, and an awesome 2026, endlessly improving our not so little travel guide, clarifying and detouting as always. Ibaman (talk) 17:52, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
