The menu has a slight upscale slant (a specific item may come off as healthy, yuppie, or hippie) compared to El Castillito or Cancun, but they're still delicious.</eat>
Why are these two neighborhoods (Mission and Bernal) grouped together?
[edit]As a local, I've never heard them grouped together.
- Our district layout for SF was based in part on the official government districts for the board of supervisors (this one is based roughly on district 9, more specifically - it's not a perfect match, but it combines Mission and Bernal Heights). It was an easy go-to reference for breaking up the city when we were dealing with these less touristy, more residential areas. The advantage is pairing these two is that it gives Bernal Heights some prominence while lending material to the Mission article; Bernal simply doesn't have enough tourist amenities to stand alone as an article, and keeping it here seems like a better fate than throwing it in with the somewhat unsavory reputation of the Southeast neighborhoods.
