Best tri tip? meh.

There's a reason it's called "Santa Maria Style" tri tip.

Not that there is any good permanent restaurant for tri tip in Santa Maria. Just drive down broadway over the weekend. Alternatively look up Jocko's in Nipomo (15 minutes and worth the drive in the evening) and Far Western Tavern in Guadalupe (25 minutes down the 1)
