Restaurants

Per Project:Avoid negative reviews I'm pulling this one:

• Swingers, 802 Broadway (near Lincoln), (310) 393-9793. Located within walking distance of the 3rd Street Promenade, this diner packs a lot of attitude into its small location. Food is good and reasonably priced (egg entrees run between $5 - $9), the service is lively, and the neon pink cows on the wall will keep you wondering what medications the decorator was using. Open Sunday - Wednesday from 7AM to 2AM, and Thursday - Saturday from 7AM to 3AM.

The food is good, but while visiting today we got a bottle of hot sauce that fell apart and spilled everywhere. It took several minutes to get anyone to bring towels or anything to clean up with, they wouldn't immediately replace the meal (despite the fact that hot sauce spilled all over it and all over my brother's clothing), they never offered to comp the food, and when we left a $1 tip the waiter followed us out sarcastically asking if we wanted our $1 back. The place prides itself on having a punker attitude, but there's a clear line between attitude and rudeness/bad service.

If this was an isolated incident then someone else may want to restore this listing in the future, otherwise there are better places to direct travelers to. -- (WT-en) Ryan ^(talk) 15:27, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
