Talk:Sde Boker

In the Get In section By Bus, it says the 65 stops at Ein Avdat. However, it only stops at the gas station there accordingly to http://www.bus.co.il/otobusim/Front2007/homepage.asp?LanguageTID=en&Design=2007. On Google maps the bus stop is only identified in Hebrew which Google translated as "Dead Birds" (?), but it also describes it as 3.4 kilometers from the entrance of Ein Avdat. If anyone has clarifying information that would be appreciated, otherwise, these points must be mentioned in the article, because in effect there is not way to get to Ein Avdat by bus without possibly hitchiking or walking for 2 miles, a serious distance would travelers must know.

Also, I just contacted the College, and was told there are in fact no taxis in the area at all. This should be confirmed and removed.

Dead link[edit]

Would anyone be able to fix the dead link for Sde Boker winery before this article goes on the main page? I tried to fix it myself, but I had trouble because I can't read Hebrew. —Granger (talk · contribs) 14:40, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I speak Hebrew. The official site seems to have disappeared with nothing to replace it. The closest I found were links here and here which are third party reviews. See also here which discusses a particular event at the winery in April 2017, and lists a new email address. Really, it would be good for one of us to email both addresses and ask if they are still open and what is the best way of contacting them. Ar2332 (talk) 16:36, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for doing the research. I'm willing to contact them if no one else is, but maybe it would be better for someone to email them in Hebrew. —Granger (talk · contribs) 16:48, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
