Bike?

I know the user with the Hebrew letters (sorry for addressing you that way; I do not know how to write your name without copy-paste) has made a couple of hiking related articles here concerning Israel, which I think are a great resource. So this is a general question as well as a specific one: Are those trails open to bikes? First of all can you get a bike through them in any reasonable fashion, second is it allowed or at least something that isn't forbidden per se? And if those first two questions are to be answered in the affirmative, what are the likely reactions of real estate owners, locals or other hikers if one is to go through the trail on a bike? I know that in Germany several trails in nature have conflicts between mountain bikers and hikers as they very naturally have different expectations of the trail and a narrow trail is often not a good space to pass one another (especially if the bike is going downhill at the moment and the hiker is elderly). We might need to separate out routes that can be easily biked in Israel, but those questions are imho worth a half sentence even if that half sentence is "bikes are not allowed / not welcome / you cannot get through by bike". The presumption is that these are walking routes, bikes are not allowed. That said, many sections are usable by bikes.Ar2332 (talk) 18:31, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
