Talk:Southwest

According to my dictionary, the spelling Southwest is prefered over South West. However, both are disambiguating pages, so links on one should be duplicated on the other. Because disambiguating pages should link directly from the Project:Links to disambiguating pages page, these pages should not be redirects as the disambiguation page maintenance function (when it works) will identify errors. -- (WT-en) Huttite 07:00, 18 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Oh. Will this really cause a problem? I would have thought it was much better to try to avoid having two identical (or near identical) pages, although I don't know the technical implications.

I just thought it better to combine the 2 pages. The offical SW (England) website [1] uses South West, rather than Southwest, not that it matters much to me. (WT-en) DanielC 07:43, 18 Apr 2005 (EDT)
