"Contiguous states"
[edit]Is this an expression any of you are familiar with in describing the lower 48? To me, states that are contiguous are next to each other, so New York State is contiguous with Pennsylvania but not Ohio. I would suggest a reversion to "lower 48", but if any of you disagree or have a better alternative, have at it. Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:39, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- As far as I'm aware "Contiguous states" is a standard term - see w:Contiguous United States for a similar usage. -- Ryan • (talk) • 04:28, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. Point taken, and I'm satisfied. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:13, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
