Still got to get all the addresses and contact details together... —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) PeterW (talkcontribs) 25 Jan 2006

It seems that many edits have been made where someone was critical of something, this is not constructive as Wikivoyage is not there to simply promote places like many commercially driven travel info sites do. I can understand that locals are defensive of their city/ country but keep in mind that you would also appreciate honest balanced information when visiting elsewhere abroad. Also be sure of your spelling when you correct something: it's souvenir shop, not souvenire shop. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 193.67.113.2 (talkcontribs) 19 Dec 2006

See

[edit]

"The Malta Experience...is strong on myth and less so on fact." Could you specify what part is mythical, as in not true in the information they present? Admittedly the information is not presented as the CIA world factbook would do so, but that's the whole point, it's supposed to be an enjoyable introduction into Maltese history. Again this recommendation is for visitors to the country, not for people who've been here all their lives. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 193.67.113.2 (talkcontribs) 19 Dec 2006

Get around

[edit]

If you know all the alleys and which roads are one way and in which direction going around Valletta by car is an option. If you're a visitor unfamiliar with the place it is actually quite a difficult place to find your way around in by car. It is a pedestrian city, plainly speaking. It is a walled peninsula built in the 1500's and it's infrastructure is by definition not built for easy exploring by car. That is why I said that going on foot is ideal. 193.67.113.2 07:13, 4 January 2007 (EST)

Stay Safe

[edit]

I stand by my point that Valletta is deserted at night outside of Republic street. Once again I can understand that locals want to be positive about their city/country, but biased editing on the subject of safety I find irresponsible.193.67.113.2 07:42, 4 January 2007 (EST)

I am really not sure this is a guide... Some sections contain barely any listings and there is a severe lack of geo coordinates... I realize Valletta (at least in its official boundaries) is a rather small city, but still... Hobbitschuster (talk) 21:20, 5 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
