Talk:Wrocław
"depicting a Polish military victory in 1794, is popular symbol of Polish nationalism."
It was multinational Commonwealth victory. (WT-en) Wroc 06:44, 6 Jan 2006 (EST)
Redirect to DE Wikivoyage?
[edit]Should we redirect the German name of Wroclaw, which is Breslau to a DE version instead of the EN version of Wroclaw? (WT-en) Sapphire 16:36, 11 April 2006 (EDT)
Nit picking
[edit]Shouldn't "Wrocław in Polish (also known as Breslau in German)" be "Wrocław (also known as Breslau in German)"?
I mean, I would never say "New York in English (also known as Nowe Jork in Polish)"
I'm not sure enough about this to make the change myself, but would like to suggest it for discussion.

European Capital of Culture 2016
[edit]Hi all — Wrocław is European Capital of Culture 2016 and I think that's a great opportunity to improve this travel guide. (Also, I don't think it really lives up to its "guide" status at the moment). There are many open issues:
- Adding descriptions for sights ("see") and "do" listings
- "Learn" and "Work" sections are almost empty
- Adding information to hotel names without any descriptions
- Adding geo coordinates
- Updating and verifying listings in general
- etc.
It would be great if people could contribute to take care any of these points above. Thanks a lot. —The preceding comment was added by 129.215.90.124 (talk • contribs) 12 January 2016 (UTC)
Ready to feature?
[edit]Is this article ready for Dotm? Or is anything missing? /Yvwv (talk) 22:40, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- No. Some listings lack coordinates and descriptions, and almost half of the listings in the Sleep sections just consist of a name. Here and there the article looks a bit too listy (e.g. Get in By plane). Some sections could be expanded (Understand, Buy) or maybe deleted (Work and Learn). --Ypsilon (talk) 11:34, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
- Most of the listings are from 2015 or 2016 or are undated. Not suitable for featuring. Ground Zero (talk) 20:54, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
