This is a try at a new table on status criteria for Park articles, where the "informative" status would be included (it already is, but still at experimental status).

Current table (from Wikivoyage:Park article status):

Status Name Description
1 Stub An article with little or no information, or not formatted even close to the manual of style. An otherwise-valid article without an article skeleton template may hold this status briefly; adding an appropriate skeleton promotes the article to "outline". A page which has little or no prospect of becoming an article (or being redirected to an article) would be tagged for speedy {{delete}} or nominated for {{vfd}} if what little information it conveys does not meet Wikivoyage's goals.
2 Outline Has at least the normal introductory paragraph (this can be as short as a single sentence describing where it is, in which country) and a template outline laid out for the article. Some of the sections of the template may have content, but not all of them.
3 Usable Has at least a couple of attractions with directions, information on fees and permits and accommodation, as well as a Get in section describing all of the typical ways to get there.
4 Informative Has most attractions with directions, information on fees and permits and accommodation, as well as a Get in section describing all of the typical ways to get there. If there are no accommodation or dining options, a pointer should be placed to indicate where the nearest accommodation or dining options can be found.
5 Guide Gives you different choices for which parts of the park to visit, and information on multiple attractions and things to do. Listings and layout closely match the manual of style. There are clear explanations of multiple ways to get in, multiple accommodation listings (if applicable), clear information on getting around, and some suggestions for where to go next, with one-liner descriptions. Should have a custom page-banner.
6 Star Has a tourist-style map with point-of-interest markers showing all the main attractions, eateries, accommodations, visitor centers and routes between them. The format either matches the manual of style exactly or is the exception that proves the rule. Prose is not only near-perfect grammatically but also tight, effective, and enjoyable. At least one good-quality photo accompanies the article; preferably 2-3 showing famous or important attractions.

The criteria seem inconsistent. I'd add "Also the criteria for a lower status need to be satisfied for a higher status."

The rationale for "informative" status was that there is too much of a gap between barely usable and next to guide status articles. Thus we would want to catch most good "usable" articles with the "informative criteria". The usable park articles are in Category:Usable parks.

The new table is below. I leave out "stub" to be left unchanged.

Status Name Description
2 Outline Has at least the normal introductory paragraph (this can be as short as a single sentence describing where it is, in which country) and a template outline laid out for the article. Some of the sections of the template may have content, but the criteria for "usable" aren't fulfilled.
3 Usable Has at least a couple of attractions including the most well-known one, with directions, information on fees and permits, on where to sleep, and some information on food, as well as a Get in section describing at least one typical way to get there.
4 Informative Has many or most attractions, including the most well-known ones, with directions, reasonably complete information on fees and permits, information on camping and accommodation, a Get in section describing typical ways to get there both for those travelling with public transport and those coming by car, and information on how to get around. The eat tells whether there is food served and whether you can prepare your own food; if neither, other options are described.
5 Guide Gives you different choices for which parts of the park to visit, and information on all well-known attractions and typical things to do. Listings and layout closely match the manual of style. There are clear explanations of all typical ways to get in, multiple accommodation listings (if applicable), clear information on getting around, and some suggestions for where to go next, with one-liner descriptions. Should have a custom page-banner.

At least one good-quality photo accompanies the article; preferably 2–3 showing famous or important attractions.

I think one typical way to get in is enough for usable. For big parks (think Yellowstone) there may be a huge number of typical ways to get in, so listing all is a bit much also for "informative".

A few obscure attractions shouldn't be enough for "usable", while if the park has plenty, "most" shouldn't need to be included for "informative". Changed "multiple" for guide.

Food is quite important if the park is big enough that you'd sleep there. Added to "usable", reworded for "informative".
