Get in[edit]

By plane[edit]

By car[edit]

Gallatin is accessible from I-65 (north–south) via TN-386 ("Vietnam Veterans Blvd"). Highway TN-31E (east–west) bisects the city and is also known as "Nashville Pike" and "East Broadway".

Get around[edit]

By car[edit]

Car is your best bet. The average speed on highways ranges from 55–65 mph, while city streets are generally 35–50 mph unless otherwise posted.

Several car rental agencies, including national outfits, operate in Gallatin. Ridesharing and taxis are also available.

Parking[edit]

Free parking lots are located around businesses.

By foot[edit]

While going on foot is a viable option in certain areas, it is otherwise not recommended due to the spread-out nature of the city. However, an able-bodied person could traverse on foot in decent weather. Sidewalks are prevalent in the city's downtown and immediate surrounding areas, but they become sparse when reaching the city outskirts.
