User talk:(WT-en) AnTeaX

From Wikivoyage
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Hello AnTeaX! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Thanks for adding that info to France. We really appreciate newcomers who are so willing to plunge forward. I especially appreciate the info on food since I think it takes the pressure off a bit from having that stuff in Paris (where I want to talk more about the Paris restaurant trade).

If you're going to continue working on Wikivoyage, you may find the tips for new contributors helpful.

You should also make sure you understand our copyleft and policies and guidelines. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on the talk page for the most appropriate article. --(WT-en) Mark

Welcome

[edit]

I just wanted to say hello and welcome to Wikivoyage. Question: does Project:Welcome, Wikipedians help you at all?

Also: I note that your user page is all in French, which is kind of bad form on English Wikivoyage. I wanted to invite you to check out the Francophone Wikivoyage, too, if you'd prefer not to write in English. --(WT-en) Evan 12:08, 2 Nov 2004 (EST)

Road signs

[edit]

The EU road signs should go into Driving in Europe (or something..) article, not into the main France page... (WT-en) Jpatokal 05:30, 9 Nov 2004 (EST)

reference to guidebooks

[edit]

Dear AnTeaX, I just found discussion Project:External links/Archive#Guidebooks (Reference to) where you participated. I thought you might have something to say on User:(WT-en) DenisYurkin/Paper travel guides in its talk page--and maybe even help to make that article acceptable for Wikivoyage standards. Thank you. --(WT-en) DenisYurkin 16:38, 7 February 2007 (EST)
