Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. I would recommend to start with our Tips for new contributors if you feel like it. To specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. Gori Map

I'm thrilled to see such a great map appearing for Gori! Would you please add to your image file information regarding your source material and, crucially, licensing. Without licensing, your map will get deleted and since it looks like you made it yourself, that would be a shame.

To help you pick a license, the main types of licensing allowed on Wikivoyage are CC-by-SA and Public Domain. CC-by-SA means that anyone can use your image as long as it remains free for anyone else to use (i.e., no derivative, copyrighted works), keeps it under the CC-by-SA license, and gives you credit for the image. Public Domain means you have totally released all rights to your image forever and anyone can use it for any purpose and will not need to credit you for the work. You might want to check out Project:Image policy and Project:Copyleft for more information.

Lastly, if your map is based on a vector graphics image (SVG), please upload the svg file so other editors can edit the map. If you don't have an svg file, don't worry! I'll be happy to make one based off your map, but first we need the licensing issue taken care of ;)

More Gori

Great work on the map! Please upload the new version of the svg file when you get a chance--the easiest way to do it is to click the link on the image page "Upload a new version of this file." That way we don't have to update any links. But do remember when updating to copy in the image info from the previous version because it does not automatically get carried over.

To get the Gori article in really fantastic shape, there are a few things you might be able to do that I haven't been able to (given my location in Washington D.C.), but of course this is only if you have time and feel like it!

• Fill out the listings templates for each "buy," "eat," "do," and "sleep" entry. That probably just means street addresses, some phone numbers, some price info, and a brief comment/explanation for each.
• Add entrance fee information, hours of operation, and (if possible) contact information for the Stalin Museum and Uplistsikhe.
• Add a couple listings for the "drink" section. I don't remember seeing any bars during any of my visits to Gori, but I assume there must be some. Also, didn't you mention beer gardens in one of your edits? Although the best places to get a drink are probably in the restaurants, it would just look good to have some listings under the currently empty section.
• I removed a few listings you had on your original map only because I wasn't sure what to do with them. If you fill these out in the article, it should be easy to figure out how to reintegrate them into the map.

Again, I'd like to be clear that I am not asking you to do any of this. These are just some guidelines to give you an idea of what the article really needs now, if you feel in the mood ;)

You also might want to check out the regional article for Shida Kartli. Right now its just an outline article that I cobbled together, but if you know anything about the other cities in the region, that could be very useful.
