Thank you for your image uploads and contributions to Mykonos, Paros, Woolacombe and others. Looking at the images there is one that has some people shown on the right side in Image:Panorama.JPG. You should review the Project:Image policy in the area of "People in photos". We don't normally include people in Wikivoyage photos and if we do a model release is required. Would it be possible to crop this photo?

Request for Photo Delete

It is not a problem. Only an administrator can delete. Normally we go through a process to vote on deletions (see Project:Votes for deletion), but I can do that without going through the process provided I have your permission. I believe Unix differentiates between lower case and upper case, so with your permission I will delete Image:Panorama.JPG and we will leave Image:Panorama.jpg. If that works, we will be left with the correct photo. If it whacks both, you may need to upload again. Thanks again for you contributions and also for cropping the photo. Will you do me a favor? On your InterRail ticket does it say something about trains leaving after 7 or 8 PM on a given day counts as the next day? Thankyou very much for doing this, i have just seen the time you have found! Where are you getting the information from? I dont have the accutally ticket yet as am getting it baught for me. I will look on the internet now to see if it says anything about it. Even if it does I can try to blag it as it will have bee nmy first day tavelling and can say have never done it before. I'm using the links I added to Rail travel in Europe. I spent a great amount of time writing that article and in 2004 I spent several thousand dollars riding the rail in Europe so I know pretty much how to do things. Might I ask where you are from and your age? I heard about the leaving a day earlier thing when I went travelling around Europe with my school group in 2002.

Unfortunately, I believe you made a small typo "blag," which, has thrown off my comphrehension of your comments. Did you mean to say: Even if it doesn't saying anything about it (Leaving a day earlier) that you would be willing to buy a ticket and leave a day earlier?

BTW, the bull run happens every morning at 8 AM, however, if you plan to run with the bulls you have to be in the area by 7:30 AM. - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 06:26, 4 June 2006 (EDT)

Sorry completely my fault, I didn't read the initial information correctly. I have got my Eurostar ticket booked and that gets into Paris at 23:23 so it wouldn't be possible to get on a train at that time. Sounds a shame, this was the only time available to me on the cheap student price. If there is a train that leave after 23:23 (or idealy after 24:00 (so it is free due to my pass starting!)) that would be great!

I'm 17 (18 this month) and am going cause it will be my final year before Uni. Am from Leeds, U.K.

Love Parade

Since I wanted to help you out the best that I could I emailed the Love Parade organization and asked them the specific time the parade started. There will be a show prior to the parade, which starts at noon. The parade, itself, starts at 2 PM. So you'll probably have to leave Amsterdam early to get to the Cologne train station. Hi JossDude, You might want to take a look at Project:User page help as we do not provide personal home pages or a vacation photo service. Your talk page is pretty much being used for that at this point. We do want you to add content about your trip and I am looking forward to that. I know you want to show your friends/family pictures and dialog about your trip, but there are other services where that can be done. I saw that you've started off a page to record your experience in India. Did you know that there is a better way now to do this? Head over to Wikivoyage Extra. There you'll find a way to automatically create a user account that maps to your wikivoyage account. You can create a blog that shares your experiences, upload your photos, and talk to other travellers in a much better way than you can do here!

Travelogues

Hello JossDude, you have not responded to previous messages warning that Wikivoyage explicitly forbids using userpages as a personal home page or vacation photo service, but you have been using Wikivoyage exlusively for that purpose for the past year. As Evan and Ravikiran point out above, Wikivoyage does offer these services through Wikivoyage Extra; please move your travelogues there. I have blanked your travelogues to get your attention, as previous messages apparently did not, but the information is not permanently deleted and can be easily retrieved. --(WT-en) Peter ^Talk 21:24, 18 July 2007 (EDT)
