Hello PAWiki! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. (WT-en) LtPowers 10:55, 2 December 2008 (EST)

List formatting

[edit]

Hello, and thank you for all your recent contributions! I wanted to call your attention to our policy on one liner listings. Some of your latest edits diverge from the set format we try to maintain across articles. Thanks! --(WT-en) Peter Talk 01:09, 26 December 2008 (EST)

The Phrasebooks

[edit]

Please understand that phrasebooks are for languages not countries or whatever. I removed your listing to United States in the request because it isn't a language. Please refer to the stuff at the top of the page for more info. Hope this helps. Happy holidays,(WT-en) edmontonenthusiast [ee] .T.A.L.K. 15:31, 27 December 2008 (EST).

Ok. Thanks. That wasn't immediately clear, since they seemed to list countries, not languages. (WT-en) PAWiki 00:55, 28 December 2008 (EST)

Thanks for all your work on the cities and regions of Pennsylvania. I removed the link to Lehigh Valley from the North America article based on the fact that when compared to (for example) the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone or the Caribbean the Lehigh Valley isn't one of the continent's world-renowned regions. In general the guidelines on the site are to promote the areas of greatest interest to visitors in the top-level articles and to get more granular as the article scope decreases, so the continent article should really just focus on the handful of the most famous / notable sites within North America. Hope that makes sense! -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 00:35, 9 October 2009 (EDT)
