Hi Tomkat, As you can see from my comment on:, Talk:Main Page#No Central European Cities linked, the Main Page's Europe Section hasn't got any Central European cities on it yet. I think Budapest is nearly good enough. As you can see, I've added a few links to the Pest and Buda articles from the main Budapest page, as suggested on Project:Huge city article template. I think it just needs some entries on "Learn", "Work" and "Contact" now. Do you have anything you could add there? (WT-en) DanielC 17:20, 15 May 2005 (EDT)

Tomkat, why did you undo my edit of getting in by bus into Hungary? Its a fact, ive3 been there myself, and I think it is relevant. I'm sorry. -- Daniël

In fact, I know this story vice versa: the Serbian police and border control has to be bribed by tourist buses to prevent a long wait at the border. Are you sure they were Hungarian immigration officer you you had to pay to? (WT-en) Tomkat 17:01, 6 Oct 2005 (EDT)

Yep. The Serbs didnt check us (which of course sounds suspicious), so maybe we can add something to both Serbia and Hungary, that bus passengers sometime collect bribes to go over the border quicker, without mentioning which side of the border it is. Ok?

I meant that after Buda, the suffix is -ban, while after Pest, it's -ben; the suffix vowel depends on the stem vowel. Sorry for not answering earlier; I had no idea I had new messages, because "You have new messages" isn't working. -(WT-en) phma 22:36, 4 Nov 2005 (EST)
