Hi, and welcome to Wikivoyage! I started a discussion of the Platte River article you started at Votes for Deletion because we don't do articles only about bodies of water (see What is an article?). However, we do have articles about river valleys (see, for example, Hudson Valley). So the question is, should this article be renamed to "Platte River Valley" and be developed, or should it be redirected to some preexisting article (but which one?)? Please give your views at Vfd. And please don't be discouraged: Your contributions are appreciated; we just need to figure out where best to make use of them.
