Hello, 79.78.177.76! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations.

Thank you for your contribution to English language varieties. I wanted to explain for a minute why it needed to be reverted. There's been a great deal of attention paid to that particular article over the past months, which has had the side effect of making the lists of different terms long and unwieldy. As you can see from several past discussions on the talk page, we collectively made the decision that because we're a travel guide and not a dictionary, and in order to restrict length and not present the reader with a glut of too much information, that we should only list terms that are unambiguously travel related.

If you disagree with the reversion, you can mention this on the talk page of the article, and we'll see what can be done.

Again, welcome! And please don't let this little hiccup get in the way of what is hopefully a fruitful future for you on Wikivoyage.

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
