Hello! This is a great list. Would you consider changing it to "Countries and territories"
I noticed that Guadeloupe [] (french overseas territory) was not on this list
Also Puerto Rico[] (dependent territory of the United States)
These islands/states do not really come to mind when a traveller thinks about USA or France and it would be good to keep an eye on developments in places like this too!

- Hi J-wonder, yes I can add territories to this list. It is manually updated so I can add more French overseas territories when I do a Petscan check next time. I added New Caledonia during the second round and I could add Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte, etc. in the following round.
- I also would like to check the number of articles by state/province/region for the big countries either by area or population (China, India, USA, Brazil, etc). That would also give us a better idea of which parts of the world are underrepresented on Wikivoyage and need further attention.
- I wanted to add further statistics and analysis to this too such as "Articles per million people", "Articles density by area" "GDP-Article ratio) but that may be beyond my technical abilities at this stage. I could copy and paste the numbers on Excel and do the analysis there actually. But it will take time as I'm busy on other things here and in real life. Gizza (roam) 01:33, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks Gizza! Love all your ideas here, the more granular the data the better to identify holes and call out for support. BUT yes, Real Life gets in the way :)
- Will have to learn more about Petscan myself. Thanks for the insights! J-wonder (talk) 23:32, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
