Patroller?[edit]

Welcome, and thanks for your helpful reversions of LTA.

If you expect to revert here frequently, would you be interested in patroller or admin status? Over here patroller status does not require a nomination, and it may help with rollbacks. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 15:47, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My bad, I see you’re already a global rollbacker. However if you expect to be reverting often, admin status may lessen the chore of reverting edits. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 15:48, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @SelfieCity:! Thank you. I'm not immediately interested in sysop (there'd be trust issues, as I don't have sysop rights elsewhere, and I have hardly contributed to Wikivoyage till now), but as I'll be around here often to deal with the WMF-banned user, and also for general countervandalism, I'd like to have patroller - GR doesn't give the ability to mark edits as patrolled. I hope to contribute to Wikivoyage with useful content, especially about the area I live in. Once again, thank you! JavaHurricane (talk) 16:17, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply. I have given you patroller status, which I believe also fills the role of autopatroller. Contributing really is fun here, and I think you’d enjoy writing travel content! --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 16:32, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Touting[edit]

Thanks, you did absolutely the right thing with the recent tout. FYI we have four templates, {{subst:tout}}, {{subst:welcome}}, {{subst:welcomeanon}} and {{subst:wikipedian}} which can be placed on the talk page of a user. Particularly the touting template is useful for explaining the situation. SelfieCity (talk) 15:26, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I will use them henceforth. JavaHurricane 15:31, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
