I inserted a merge tag on the Thorpe park article you created. I might or might not have been right, and if you'd like to argue that under Wikivoyage: What is an article? guidelines, Thorpe Park requires its own article, separate from Chertsey, please make your argument at Vfd. But under no circumstances may anyone delete a merge tag before a consensus has been reached on whether the article should be merged or remain free-standing. I thank you in advance for working within our consensus-based system.

Why is this? The exception to the rule is for "Big free-standing theme parks like Disneyland or Cedar Point" , Thorpe Park is a large themepark, and Alton Towers also has its own page, should that not be removed aswell?
