All the best,
Airport articles
[edit]Hi again. On airports: Most airports don't get articles on this site. Criteria were developed at Wikivoyage talk:Airport Expedition and the Airport Expedition page. To summarize the criteria, only if an airport is large, complicated and very busy (in the word of Wikivoyage talk:What is an article?/Archive 2003-2013#Explicit exception for large airports, so large and complex that the information about them would overload the city article) does it get a Wikivoyage article. The summary of criteria at WV:Airport Expedition is as follows:
The main criteria for determining if an airport article is appropriate:
- Does the airport service connecting flights? Only airports large enough to service connecting flights should be considered for articles since travelers are unlikely to be spending significant time at airports that serve only as departure and final destination points.
- Does the airport have enough food and shopping options to fill out an entire "Buy" and "Eat and Drink" section?
Do these apply to the Katowice-Pyrzowice airport? I'm guessing they don't, and that it doesn't really need its own page, but you would know better.
All the best,
