Hello, MJL! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.

Thanks for your contributions. I think everyone but you has pretty much been ignoring the version of Indonesian history posted at Talk:Indonesia, but the way I see it, that doesn't give you the right to remove it. Content in talk pages is very rarely removed, and the only justifications I can think of for removing other people's edits on talk pages are if they constitute touting or vandalism, or in some other situations that are very unusual, like someone doxxing themselves or others. You're free to disagree with a version of history that's not actually in the article, but if you want it deleted, I think you need to post on the talk page and explain why it's best not just to ignore it and move on, which would be my humble recommendation for you, for whatever that's worth. @Ikan Kekek: Thank you for the welcome!
It's all copyright violations, so...[1]MJLTalk 04:55, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, this editor is the same person who made this edit, and therefore they are currently globally banned. –MJLTalk 05:08, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, in that case, yes, we should delete the edit. I'll revert my reversion. Thanks, and sorry. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:12, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I had to revert your addition of Middletown in Connecticut#Cities, because at the state (or any non-bottom region) level, the 7+2 guidelines limit the number of listed cities to no more than 9. If you consider Middletown more important or interesting than one of the cities currently included in that section, please start a thread at Talk:Connecticut explaining why, and we can discuss that. I hope that makes sense, and thanks.

All the best,
