- Thanks for your kind welcome! If I knew for sure I'd certainly do so. But I don't live in Bregenz (just spent a few hours there yesterday) and cannot verify quickly. – It was the "typical" case of how my Wiki***ia edits often go: a typo got me started, I did a quick research to confirm my understanding ... and found that there probably is a larger issue behind it as well. So, I fixed the typo and pointed out my other concern so that other, more competent Wikipedians, Wikivoyagers etc. can look after it.
- I see that (sadly) Wikivoyage is not on the same level as Wikipedia yet. And I like the openness of Wikivoyage for a slightly more personal approach which allows to include one's own travel tips ... but at this time, I'm not a big writer. Most of my contributions to the various Wiki projects (mostly in German, Italian, some English, French and other languages) are smaller edits therefore. Martinus KE (talk) 14:15, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
- There are some years to go before we'll be as big a site as Wikipedia, if that ever happens. But the advantage of a smaller wiki like this is you get more of a personal interaction with other editors, and thus a stronger sense of community.
- Any contributions you can make from time to time are welcome, no matter how large or small. The German and Italian Wikivoyages have existed longer than the English version, so even though the number of active users is smaller, their share of the potential 'market' of readers is greater. They would appreciate your help, I'm sure.

- Thanks again, then! ... but you needn't do so "for me". If so, it will (or will not) be in the interest of the other Wikivoyage users. ;-)
- True: the various Wiki projects do have different community spirits. Smaller projects can be cosier (e.g. the Alemannic Wikipedia, cf. w:als:Bregenz, as we're talking about that town), and more narrowly defined areas of interest/activity can also be like that. On the other hand, the same effect can come with a flip side: it can mean a higher risk of getting into conflict with the "chief" of the area (I'm glad that, so far, I didn't have to make that kind of experience).
- I'm sure I'll keep contributing my "five cents" whenever/wherever I'll happen to encounter some typo, issue or (smallish) gap. They simply make my fingers "itch" and I cannot help it ... – Thanks again for your words of welcome! Martinus KE (talk) 16:26, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
