Hello Nikethprince! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

Thanks for your updates to the Vatakara article. I kept the basics of your edits on nearby airports, though I deleted the inline Wikipedia links per this site's guidelines on when and how to link to Wikipedia. I also reverted your unexplained deletion, which was not a minor edit and shouldn't have been misrepresented as one. I'd suggest you post to Talk:Vatakara and give an argument for deleting that content, then see if you get a consensus behind your proposal before acting. Prof tpms lives in Kerala and knows the area well, so I'd want to hear from him on this before any changes are made and would be willing to wait a couple of weeks if necessary, unless you have very good, credible sources that you can bring to bear in a talk page discussion (not to add to the article itself, as we by default don't add secondary sources to articles themselves as a matter of site style).
