Hello Smmb33! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub tagging → Article status
It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!
Please read what not to link to and don't tout. It doesn't matter how "ultimate" another guide is; we don't link to other guides. Nor are "External links" sections of any kind used on this site. However, whatever useful information you'd like to provide here would be most welcome!

- Hi. In addition to the above, the information you add must also be your own work, and not be taken from a copyrighted source. That kind of thing can get us into a lot of trouble; please don't do it. Reading about our copyleft licence will be helpful for you. Thanks, ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 09:02, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- You could put it in your own words, though, summarizing the point while citing the source in your edit summary. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:07, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- You're not allowed to copy and paste paragraphs from Wikipedia without credit, either, and again, I say, if you want to add information you read about elsewhere, summarize it and put it in your own words.
