We keep deleting this page. Should we actually put some useful text on it and then protect it? Some people could use help understanding how to access page histories. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:25, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We really should. It's linked from Wikivoyage:How to edit a page. How do we easily explain edit summaries to new users? I'm editing Wikivoyage:Welcome, business owners and don't know what to link for "edit summary". Was there ever any useful text in this article? Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:15, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, as a translator and contributor for an incubated Czech Wikivoyage, I think this page should be useful, however without any content, it's far from useful right now. I'm listing this page in my personal template for future usage, but it may seem I'll have to take it from Wikipedia if there's not going to be any content. Should we go back to the 30 April 2013 version of this page? That looks to be a useful brief introduction to Page History. There could be a link to w:Help:Page history for anybody wanting more details. AlasdairW (talk) 23:18, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see why we shouldn't. Perhaps there is a better guide somewhere, but that versions seems more useful than having nothing here. –LPfi (talk) 10:29, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
