Windsor is a town of 3,582 (2020) in North Carolina.


Historically the home of the Tuscarora people, Windsor has a number of buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • 1 Hope Plantation, 132 Hope House Rd, +1 252 794-3140. The historic former home of North Carolina Governor David Stone, built around 1803.


  • 1 Livermon Park & Mini Zoo, 103 N York St, +1 252 794-5553. Daily 8AM-7:30PM. Zoo with some representative bison and goats that will most probably warm your heart. Across York St is a wetlands boardwalk extending over to the Cashie River.
