Aggtelek is a village in northern Hungary, close to the Slovak border.

Many caves are available:
- 1 Baradla. Most popular of the Aggtelek tours, approx. 1 hr/1 km. This cave is part of the Baradla-Domnica system, measuring 25 km in total, 5 km of which is in Slovakia. 1500-2200ft.
- 2 Béke. 5-hour tour, good shoes needed, and helmets are used - only part of the cave is paved.
- 3 Vass Imre. 6.5-km/3-hour tour, 6 km of which is spent between ticket office and the cave. Temporarily closed.
- 4 Rákoci Cave. 400-m/40-min tour, claimed to be probably the most spectacular cave in the region. Ft 1800-3000.
