Glenboro is a small village of around 600 people (2016) in the Prairie Mountain region of Manitoba.

Glenboro is a small service centre to the surrounding farms and is also a jumping off point to nearby Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

Glenboro is located at the intersection of PTH 2 and PTH 5, 1 hour southeast of Brandon and 2 hours southwest of Winnipeg.

Sara the Camel
  • 1 Sara the Camel (PTH 2 & Cochrane St). 17 ft (5.2 m) statue constructed in 1978, and is emblematic of the nearby Spirit Sands, and has been used to promote the Glenboro area and nearby Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

  • 3 Stockton Ferry (12 km W of Glenboro, then N for 3 km, E 1 km and N 2 km), +1 204-827-2250. M-F 7AM-11AM, 3-7PM. On the Assiniboine River, the Stockton Ferry is the last remaining operating river ferry in Southern Manitoba.

Spruce Woods Provincial Park is located where the Assiniboine River passes through the delta of sediment left by the last glaciation. An area of open and stabilized sand dunes within the park provides habitat to species of plants and animals not found elsewhere in Manitoba. Camping available in the Kiche Manitou campground.
