By car

Two major causeways lead to the Satellite Beach area. One is the FL-404, or Pineda Causeway, which leads to South Patrick Shores north of Satellite Beach. Eau Gallie Boulevard leads from Eau Gallie (Melbourne) to Indian Harbour Beach south of Satellite Beach. A third causeway follows a barrier island parallel to Satellite Beach from Pineda Causeway to the southern side of Satellite Beach, where it connects to the southern end of the town.

The primary attraction in Satellite Beach is the beach, which continues north and south of the city following the eastern shoreline. The Intracoastal Waterway on the west side of Satellite Beach is a popular destination for cruising on small craft.

Hit the beach and then drop in for a fun outdoor atmosphere and a good Spanish-inspired meal. The insane burritos, Barney Bowls, and spiced carrots and pot mac, are delicious and inexpensive. $5- $10/person.
