Kaithal is a city in Ambala Division of Haryana to the north of Delhi. The area is mostly farmland, growing rice, cotton and oil-seed. Kaithal's sights include the fort and the Shree Gyarah Rudri Mandir Temple.

Kaithal is well connected to the big cities by road. From Chandigarh, drive along the National Highway NH-65.
