  • 1 Metra (New Lenox station), 300 N Church St. New Lenox is served by the Rock Island District line that runs between Joliet and Chicago's LaSalle Street Station. Service runs roughly once an hour on weekdays and once every two hours on weekends, with more frequent service on Chicago-bound trains during the morning rush hour and Joliet-bound trains during the afternoon/evening rush hour. $7.50 one-way from downtown Chicago.
