Buxtehude is a small city in the German state of Lower Saxony.

Get in

From Hamburg you can reach Buxtehude by train in 39 minutes. From the main station, take the S3 in the direction of Buxtehude or Stade. During the week, the S3 goes about every 20 minutes. Slightly faster is the Metronom train, also departing from Hamburg main station. It travels in the direction of Cuxhaven hourly and stops in Buxtehude.
