Category talk:Media files

This category was manually edited this way. Wikivoyage:Categories states the following: "Currently, the only approved uses of categories are for Project purposes, i.e. for helping out with articles that need attention or getting informed about current policies. These categories are set automatically within the templates, not manually by users." Therefore, is there any justification for not reverting the edit, as I attempted to do? I don't have anything against your revert since the change was not discussed previously, but this categories aren't automatically handled with the media templates, unlike mainspace articles, FWIW. Take it at your will. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 07:50, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

If there's no reason for the two categories of the same purpose to coexist at the same time, than why not combine them? Others would be confused to which category does the files actually belong.
